What can I say. This is probably the best shop I've ever dealt with. Whether its a Transmission on my Buick, gaskets on my F-250, or whatever it takes to keep my old BMW 535i running good, these guys know exactly what they're doing. Shaun is the guy that runs the shop, and every time I've dealt with him I feel like I'm getting a straight-up, square deal at a super fair and reasonable price. These guys go the extra mile and I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Period

I'd like to thank Shaun and his staff at AAMCO who has helped me out a couple different times.I I bought an extended warranty for my Chevy and the dealer wanted to put a used transmission in. Shaun got us a new transmission under warranty, they put it in so quick the engine was still warm when I collected it.My transmission went bad in the late in the night and I called AAMCO the next morning and they got me in straight away. I've got a brand new transmission all thanks to you!!Thank you so much again AAMCO!!!
These guys had my F250 for 2 days, took the transmission out and replaced it, great service and turn around time! I will definitely use them again.
Fairly new to East Rochester and I was looking for a reputable and affordable repair shop. After searching online and reading their reviews, I decided to give these guys a try. Aamco was everything I needed and more! They were flexible with fitting me in last minute, personable and transparent. I've never had someone walk through an inspection with me as thorough as they did. They suggested repairs for the future, but didn't pressure me into getting them fixed right away. Great first experience! Highly recommended.
My family and I have been getting all of our auto needs taken care of at this location for over 15 years. Both the manager and his team have always been completely friendly, reliable, honest, and trustworthy...which can be difficult to find, when it comes to auto repairs. They have taken care of every issue we have had in a timely manner. I highly recommend this AAMCO location to anybody searching for a consistent and honest auto shop on the Rochester area.
This Aamco shop exceeds expectations. The transmission in our motor home failed. It sat at the chevy dealer in Victor for 6 weeks - nothing happened. Fed up with them we stopped by the shop in East Rochester to see if they could help. And DID THEY. Monday afternoon they have our motor home towed to the shop pulled and repaired the transmission. We picked up on Wednesday. Thursday we were off to Watkins Glenn - so sweet.
Shaun provided awesome communications and even sent a pic of our vehicle up on the lift. If you need transmission service or for that matter any automotive service give them a call.
And oh yes they have been East Rochester for approx 30 years
We had intermittent electrical issues with the transmission of an older model car. The problem has been fully resolved thanks to AAMCO of East Rochester. Shaun and his team provided us with outstanding professionalism and courteous service. I was very impressed with the experience of their senior level technicians. I'll continue to bring all of our family vehicles to this location since they offer full auto maintenance and repair services.
When my transmission failed and my usual auto shop conveyed that they did not do transmission work, I read some reviews on line and consequently called AAMCO in East Rochester. I had my car towed there and met the proprietor, who was most personable and helpful. In a very short time I was presented with three options and careful explanations of each. Being as well informed as I could be, I made my choice. My decision dictated that a transmission had to be ordered and shipped. When the shipping company fell short of their promised delivery date, the owner of this AAMCO shop was most apologetic and seemed to feel personally responsible. Even after the new transmission was installed and I was picking up the car, I was still the recipient of apologies for an issue that was well beyond the control of the proprietor. I remain impressed with his sense of responsibility.
In the process of the transmission work, another unrelated issue was brought to my attention. When I had determined that the concern was indeed valid, I was again given options and explanations to guide my decision on how to proceed. I elected to have the work done, and it was completed quickly.
I feel that the costs for the work received were clearly inline with other sources. I can state without hesitation that all interactions with the personnel of this facility were polite and professional. I will certainly not hesitate to use this shop in the future.
Great shop for transmission repairs, there service Tech is the best around hands down.

Excellent experience here recently. I was referred by another mechanic because there was some concern about my transmission. After checking over my vehicle, they reassured me that the car was in excellent shape and recommended no further work. I was very impressed with both the thoroughness of their explanation, their customer service And their ethics. Excellent customer service. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
Vanessa and her team treated me right. Got my car in Thursday and the truck was done the following Monday. Prompt repairs for a pretty big job. Was given a clear rundown of things they see wrong and how much they may cost to repair. Very happy with taking my business here and from now on. Vanessa was very understanding and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask her questions, she is very knowledgeable.
